St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Old Town Irish Party ~ Fort Collins

Lucky Joe’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Old Town Irish Party hosted by Wilbur’s Total Beverage. The parade is a FREE event that is open to all ages, beginning at 10:00am and beloved by the entire community. This event has been held in the historic district of downtown Fort Collins for two decades. Volunteers from the community help with making sure the parade comes together, including being marshals for the parade route, judges, grand marshals, and more. The crowd of thousands will line the streets of the parade route, cheer on their friends and favorite entries, and enjoy the atmosphere. The entries are required to represent the St. Patrick’s Day theme and will be judged by a community panel to determine who wins 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards.

After the parade, the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association will offer live music and a “green beer garden” in Old Town Square at the Old Town Irish Party. There will be free admission to this portion as well and is open to all starting at 11:00am.

Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt Party for Teens ~ Fort Collins

For teens, grades 6-12. Registration required: 970-221-6740, Library Answer Center Come with your friends to the library after hours and hunt for glow-in-the-dark eggs in Library Park! But, that’s not all! There will also be video gaming, anime watching, snacking, crafting, music making, karaoke, dancing, and more! Prize baskets will be awarded! This awesome event is for teens in grades 6-12. Don’t miss out on the fun – sign up today! (The hunt will be moved inside the library if there is snowy weather.)

Take part in the third annual School District 6 Arts Walk on Friday, March 2. The annual event showcases art created by hundreds of students attending District 6. The Tointon Gallery for Visual Arts is proud to be a partner in this event, with student artwork featured on the day of the Arts Walk and through March 17.

The City of Greeley’s Tointon Gallery is a public art gallery that presents up to twelve changing shows throughout the year to provide enjoyment, education and encourage dialogue around art. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and during most performances at the Union Colony Civic Center. Admission to Tointon Gallery is free.

Blarney on the Block ~ Greeley

Enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day celebration with “small-town” family -friendly fun on the Saturday on or before St. Patrick’s Day! The event starts at 2 pm with Irish Step Dancing followed by our annual “1st National Bank Blarney Parade” at 2:30. Everyone can join! On the 9th St plaza you’ll enjoy the bagpipes and drums of the Caledonia Pipe and Drum Band again, followed by Irish music on the 9th Street Stage with “Juice of the Barley” and Go-Cup on 9th Street. There will be kid’s activities, face painting, a photo booth with props, and MORE! Avoid the crazy crowds in other big cities and come to a celebration where the whole family can relax and have fun outside together.

A new work for young audiences inspired from the Prokofiev musical composition “Peter and the Wolf,” with captivating large-scale puppetry by Glass Half Full Theatre and a new instrumental score written and performed live by Mother Falcon. Lionheart Youth Theatre’s Petra and the Wolf introduces the mischievous but fearless Petra, the granddaughter of the fabled Peter. When a wolf threatens her home and animal friends, her adventures become a showcase of bravery and compassion.

Indoor Fun Triathlon ~ Windsor-Severance

We’re bringing the full triathlon experience indoors to you in just one hour! Our indoor triathlon will consist of 20 minutes swimming, 20 minutes on a stationary bike, and 20 minutes around our elevated walking track for as many laps as you can run, walk or crawl. Whoever covers the most distance wins! $30 per entry, intended for ages 12+. Please register by March 17.
